Search and rescue, Noosa

A search involving multiple agencies is currently underway for a missing man at a Noosa Beach.

At around 12.30am the man was seen entering the water and swimming away from the shore of Main Beach.

It is unknown whether the man made it back to shore or exited the water safely.

The search involving police, water police and other agencies will continue today.

Anyone who may have seen the man enter the water or who has any information that may assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
