Property damage, Runcorn

Detectives are investigating following an incident in Runcorn early this morning.

At around 1.30am, a man witnessed three youths at the front of his Kolan Street property, who were looking into yards and nearby vehicles.

The man called out to the group and they left the property.

Approximately 20 minutes later, a car drove past the same address and the man heard noises described as similar to a nail gun.

At 6.30am the man inspected his property and observed holes in three vehicles parked at his home and in the tyre of a boat trailer.

Police are investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
