Charges: Drugs and cash seized, Carindale

Four men from the south Brisbane area have been charged following the discovery of dangerous drugs and cash at an address in Carindale.

Police issued a search warrant at the Melaleuca Place residence at about 9pm last night, where they located around 40 kilograms of cannabis, a large sum of cash and a number of other items believed to be used in connection with drug offences.

A 28-year-old West End man has been charged with one count of possess dangerous drugs and two counts of possess anything for use in the commission of crime.

A 22-year-old Carindale man has been charged with one count each of possess dangerous drugs and possess tainted property, and three counts of possess anything for use in the commission of crime.

A 20-year-old Carindale man has been charged with one each count of possess dangerous drugs and unlawful possession of Category D/H/R weapons, and two counts of possess anything for use in the commission of crime.

A 25-year-old Sunnybank Hills man has been charged with two counts of possess dangerous drugs, three counts of possess anything for use in the commission of crime and one count of possess tainted property.

All four men are scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
