Marine Incident, Manly

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Black Mountain man in a marine incident at Waterloo Bay today.

Around 2.40 this afternoon the man was sailing competitively when the vessel he was in overturned.

The 23-year-old man was freed from the vessel and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

Police investigations continue.
