Fatal traffic crash, Rosewood

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic incident that occurred this afternoon in Rosewood.

A male cyclist has passed away as a result of injuries he sustained in a collision with a car.

Initial information suggests around 4.50pm he was cycling toward Rosewood on the Ipswich-Rosewood Road where he collided with a car around 300m south of the Seven Mile Bremer River Bridge.

Police investigations are continuing and there is no further information available at this time.

The Ipswich-Rosewood Road is currently down to one lane and police are advising motorists to take the Rosewood-Haigslea Road.
