Fatal traffic crash: Carindale

The Forensic Crash Unit are at the scene of a traffic crash that took the life of a 31-year-old Carindale woman this afternoon.

Initial investigations indicate that around 5.20pm the woman, who was cycling along Old Cleveland Road, came into contact with part of the truck causing her to fall from her bicycle.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigations are continuing and police urge motorists travelling along Old Cleveland Road near Kinrade Drive to take care as crews are currently still on scene.
