Robbery, Beaudesert

A 31-year-old Amity man has been charged in relation to the robbery of a Beaudesert fast food outlet last night.

At 9.10pm, a man entered the business on William Street and allegedly demanded money.

It is believed the man indicated to the attendants that he was armed before leaving the store with a piece of electrical equipment.

Following public assistance, a man was located a short time later.

He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today charged with robbery.
