Armed robbery, Beaudesert

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a fast food outlet in Beaudesert this morning.

Around 8.10am, two men entered the business on the corner of Brisbane and William streets by smashing through a toilet block wall.

The men threatened staff with a metal bar and made demands for cash.

Two female employees complied and handed over a sum of cash to the men who then fled the store on foot.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
