UPDATE:Suspicious fire, Gatton

Police have charged four men following a suspicious fire that occurred in Gatton on October 30.

Police were called to a fire around 11.15pm that destroyed a mobile dental van and caused considerable damage to a class room at a school on Williams street.

A 17-year-old Forest Park man has been charged with two counts each of arson, enter premises to commit and indictable offence, willful damage and one count of willful damage (railway property).

An 18-year-old Gatton man has been charged with two counts each of arson, enter premises to commit and indictable offence, willful damage and one count of willful damage (railway property), possession of a dangerous drug, possession of utensils and obstructing police.

An 18-year-old North Booval man has been with two counts each of arson, enter premises to commit and indictable offence, willful damage and one count of willful damage (railway property).

A 21-year-old Ropeley has been charged with two counts each of arson, enter premises to commit and indictable offence, willful damage and one count of willful damage (railway property), producing a dangerous drug and possession of utensils.

All men are due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
