Attempted murder charge, Richlands

A 14-year-old girl has been charged after an incident in Richlands yesterday.

Police will allege the girl attempted to poison two other children.

She has been charged with one count each of attempted murder and administer poison with attempt to harm as well as two counts of acts intended to maim.

She will be dealt with under The Youth Justice Act 1992.
