Public assistance appeal following theft of classic 1957 “Chevy”, Toowoomba

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a distinctive black 1957 Chevrolet Two-Door Bel-Air Coupe (pictured) stolen from Toowoomba on Thursday, July 26.

Between 6pm and 9.30pm the distinctive left-hand drive vehicle was stolen from the front driveway of a Stenner Street address.

Local police have been following up on a number of strong lines of enquiry but are appealing for anyone that may have information that could assist to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to either contact the Toowoomba Tactical Crime Squad on 46316379 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000. Callers can remain anonymous.
