A Constable from Northern Region has been suspended from official duty with the Queensland Police Service.
The officer, a 29 year-old man is subject to criminal charges relating to offences under the Weapons Act 1990 and a property related offence under the Criminal Code. He is due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on September 26, 2012.
