Police continue to search for answers in 2009 murder, Maryborough

Police continue to appeal for information in relation to the murder of Noel Allan Clark in Maryborough in 2009.

Mr Clark was reported missing to police in July 2009 by family members and was last seen in Maryborough in May 2009.

In 2009, three people were charged with the murder of Mr Clark.

Yesterday, a 33-year-old woman pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court to manslaughter and indecently interfering with a corpse.

“We are still appealing for assistance from the public regarding this matter. Police have charged three people regarding Mr Clark’s death, however, his body has never been located,” Detective Superintendent Brian Wilkins of the Homicide Investigation Group said.

“For the sake of the family, this is something we hope to achieve and information from the public will certainly bring us one step closer to this.”

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
