Serious assault, Warwick

Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred last night in Warwick.

Around 10.20pm, a 19-year-old local man was assaulted whilst on Victoria Street by another male.

The man was transported to Warwick Hospital with suspected head injuries.

His condition is believed to be serious, and he is being flown to Brisbane for treatment of his injuries.

Police have established a crime scene on Victoria Street, and investigations into the matter are on going.

A 20-year-old Warwick man is currently assist police with their enquiries.
