Fatal traffic crash, Redbank Plains

Police are currently investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred this afternoon in Redbank Plains.

Initial information suggests that at around 3.40pm, a car containing a man and 4 young children has struck a tree on Henty Drive.

One of the children died at the scene, and the man and the other 3 children have been taken to hospital.

Henty Drive remains closed to allow for scientific examination by the Forensic Crash Unit.
