Robbery, Helensvale

Police are appealing for information to a robbery at a Helensvale jewelry store yesterday morning.

Around 9.30am a man entered the shopping centre store and expressed an interest in a necklace and matching bracelet. The man was trying on two gold pieces when he fled the store.

The man was pursued on foot by a store employee, but managed to exit the shopping centre.

The man is described as being aged in his mid-20s, with dark short hair and a skinny/muscular build. He has a cue ball tattoo on the right side of his neck and was wearing a grey shirt and khaki shorts.

Police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their inquiries.
