PSPA declaration, Inala

Police have declared an emergency situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) at Inala.

The emergency situation was declared at 1.45pm and relates to a man threatening self harm.

Police are urging all members of the public within the PSPA boundaries to stay inside until advised by police. Motorists and pedestrians are also advised to avoid the area.

The area declared is from the intersection of Parakeet Street and Partridge Street and runs south to Tang Street, right into Clipper Street and into Lowey Street and north along Lowey Street to Parakeets Street and back to Partridge Street.
