Police have charged a 16-year-old girl following the alleged assault of a bus driver at West Burleigh on Tuesday.
About 6.50pm the girl caught a bus at a West Burleigh Road shopping centre before allegedly assaulting the 40-year-old male driver after refusing to pay her fare.
She has been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
