UPDATE Fatal traffic crash, south of Gayndah

The Burnett Highway 10kms south of Gayndah remains closed following a fatal crash in which a man has died and two people have been seriously injured.

Initial information suggests all three were travelling in a car when it collided with a truck around 2.25pm.

The highway is expected to remain closed in both directions for at least another hour.

The two other occupants, a female and a juvenile male, have been taken to hospital.

No further information is available at this time.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
