Armed robbery, Springfield Lakes

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottleshop at Springfield Lakes overnight by a man with a baton.

Around 8.40pm, the man entered the Springfield Lakes Boulevard store and threatened the male attendant before fleeing with a sum of cash. He was last seen heading north west on foot.

The man is described as in his early to mid-20’s, approximately 175cms tall, and possibly Pacific Islander in appearance with a heavy build.

At the time, the man was wearing a long sleeved black shirt, black track pants and a black cloth covering most of his head.

The attendant was not physically injured.
