Armed robbery, Hermit Park

Police are investigating after a fast food store was robbed by a man armed with a gun last night at Hermit Park.

Around 10pm a man entered the Charters Towers Road store with a firearm and threatened the two male attendants, demanding money.

After being given an undisclosed amount of cash the man left the store.

The two attendants, a 49-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were not physically injured.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 178cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black sunglasses, black hat, white gloves, black leather jacket and a dark coloured shirt.
