Cairns Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of an Earlville fast food outlet last night.
Around 9.45, a man entered the Mulgrave Roadstore armed with a knife and stole a sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
He was last seen near the intersection of Yarrum Street and Balaclava Road.
The man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, around 175cm tall and with a solid build.
He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and a green/blue balaclava.
