Armed robbery, Willowbank

Ipswich Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a Willowbank service station this morning.

Around 3.15am, a man entered the Cunningham Highway service station and threatened the female attendant with a firearm.

He fled with a sum of cash before leaving the scene in a white commodore sedan.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20’s, wearing a dark blue beanie, a black hooded jumper, denim jeans and black boots.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
