Armed robbery, Doonan

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station on Eumundi-Noosa Road, Doonan last night.

Initial investigations suggest around 6.15pm, two men approached the store attendant and made demands for money.

The store attendant complied and handed over a sum of money from the cash register.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The first man is described as about 180cm tall with a proportionate build.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing a dark jumper, dark pants, and a black balaclava.

The second man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175-180cm tall with a slim build.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark blue jeans, a black cloth covering the lower half of his face, and dark boots.

Police investigations are continuing.
