Police are currently at the scene of a fatal traffic crash on the Dawson Highway at Calliope.
Initial information suggests just before 9am a motorbike collided with a car on the highway approximately two kilometres west of Calliope.
The motorbike rider, a 40-year-old man died at the scene.
Diversions are in place on the highway but motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
