Police are investigating after a man riding a jet ski died during an event at Main Beach this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate around 2.30pm the man was riding a jet ski with a group of other riders in the Marine Stadium off Seaworld Drive when the incident occurred.
A man aged in his 20’s died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
