The Queensland Police Service are still seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 8-month-old baby boy who was abducted from Brisbane Street, Mackay around midday.
Further information has been given to Police that:
At about midday a man was seen taking the baby boy and was last seen near the Buffalo Club on Victoria Street.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 188cm tall, about 21 years of age, around 80kgs in weight, with short black hair and was wearing a black singlet and board shorts (colour unknown).
The baby boy is described as being of Caucasian appearance with light brown hair, brown/blue eyes and was wearing a blue singlet and a green jumpsuit.
The man may be travelling in one of two cars, described as being a red Ford Falcon (rego unknown) or a 1991 Blue Ford Falcon with QLD rego 833RSU – similar to the vehicles pictured below.
