UPDATE: Missing boy found, Redbank Plains

UPDATE: A nine-year-old boy reported missing from Redbank Plains has been found safe and well by Police at 7.30pm this evening.

Ipswich police are seeking public assistance to help locate a nine-year-old boy who was last at Redbank Plains yesterday afternoon.

The boy was sighted in Cedar Road around 6pm in the company of another young boy, who was possibly aged around 11.

The nine-year-old is described as Caucasian, 145cms tall with an olive complexion and proportionate build. He has brown eyes, very short black hair and was wearing a red t-shirt, board shorts and carrying / using a white Mad Gear Pro Scooter.

The second boy is described as slim with longish blonde hair. Police would like to speak to the boy and his parents / guardians.

Anyone who may know the current whereabouts of the missing boy, or who may have seen him is urged to contact police.
