Armed robbery, Berserker

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Berserker hotel early this morning.

Shortly after 1am, a man entered the Musgrave Street hotel armed with a knife and demanded money from the male staff member.

The staff member handed over a sum of cash to the man and he left the scene on foot.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, 175cms tall and was seen wearing a black T-shirt, green and white board shorts and a balaclava covering his face.

Police investigations are continuing.
