Police remain at the scene of a fatal traffic crash which occurred south of Maryborough last night.
Initial information indicates a car and truck collided on the Bruce Highway near Five Mile Road West just before 10pm.
The male driver of the car died at the scene.
The male driver of the truck was taken to Maryborough Hospital with minor injuries.
The Bruce Highway remains closed in both directions.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
